A Book Club focused on modern and contemporary novels. Weekly discussions explore each work’s literary tradition, origins, and historical context, alongside participants’ individual perspectives.
Mercedes Arocena (Montevideo, 1999) is a translator and Bachelor in Humanities, specialized in Literature and Linguistics. She currently teaches Literature and Expresión Oral y Escrita at Universidad de Montevideo. She’s also studying playwriting at Escuela Multidisciplinaria de Arte Dramático Margarita Xirgu.
